Constantly looking for new ways to shape visuals and expand the creative skillset, he’s now studying cinematography at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His commercial for “Ecosia” recently won gold at 1.4 festival, 2x gold at the Spotlight festival and silver at the Young Director Award and has seen a worldwide release. The commercial “Happy Holy Family” which he shot won gold and 3x silver at the Spotlight festival 2022 and gold at the 1.4 festival in London. His short film “Borzaya” got shortlisted for the 2022 Student-Oscars (Student Academy Awards). He received the German Cinematography Award (Deutscher Kamerapreis 2023) for the Short Film “Everybody Leaves in the End”.

Nico is currently studying cinematography @ Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He’s based in Vienna & Ludwigsburg.
